So, you've booked your cat's first-ever stay at a cat hotel. Congrats! We know that feeling of guilt—you're packing your own bags for an exciting trip, but your cat is giving you that look that says, "You're leaving me, human?!"

Don't worry, we get it. At FURRYTEL, Malaysia's premier cat boarding facility, we’re experts at turning that guilty goodbye into a joyful "see you later!" Here’s our fun-filled guide to making your cat’s first check-in as smooth as a fresh scoop of tuna.

1. The Resort Rules: Getting Ready for a Paw-sitive Stay!

Think of this as the resort's mandatory fine print. These rules are super important to make sure everyone, especially your little VIP, has a healthy, happy vacation.

Vaccinations Are a Must: We can't let your cat join the party without them! Up-to-date vaccinations are like a VIP pass for your cat, protecting them from any nasty viruses. Make sure their records are current!
No Uninvited Guests (a.k.a. Fleas): We have a strict "no fleas allowed" policy. All our guests must be up-to-date on their spot-on flea treatment. We encourage you to purchase and apply a spot-on treatment from your preferred pet store or vet a few days before check-in. If you forget or it’s due, we’ll happily do it for you during check-in. It's the only way to ensure our resort remains a completely flea-free paradise!
The Big No-Nos: For the safety of everyone, we can't accept cats that are heavily pregnant or have any open wounds. We need all our guests to be in tip-top shape and ready to relax!

2. The Kitty Contract: Signing Them Up for the Good Life

Yep, there’s a form. But don't think of it as boring paperwork! This is our compulsory "Kitty Contract" that helps us get to know your cat’s every detail. From their health history to their personality quirks, we need the lowdown. Think of it as us learning whether they're a cuddly lap-sitter or a mysterious shadow-cat. The more we know, the better we can spoil them!

3. Packing for Their First Feline

Time to pack their little suitcase! While we provide all the five-star amenities, bringing these few comforts from home can make all the difference.

Bring Their Favorite Grub (and Litter): We’ve got delicious Farmina N&D Tropical Chicken
food and premium tofu litter, but let’s be real—cats are creatures of habit. To avoid a hangry
meltdown or a tummy ache, please pack their usual food and litter (whether it’s sand or
pinewood). Familiarity is key to a happy cat!
Sorry, No Raw Bar! For the safety of all our guests, we have a firm no raw food policy. The risks
of contamination and food poisoning are just too high. Please pack only commercial dry or wet
food for their stay.
Don't Forget the Treats! You know what makes your cat purr! Bring their favorite snacks so we
can reward them for being brave or just being their cute selves. As a strict policy, we will never
give any treats without your permission, ensuring their diet is always on track.
Your Stinky Shirt is Their Comfort Blanket: This is a big one. Pack an old t-shirt or a towel
that smells like you. It’s like a warm hug from home and a powerful way to keep them calm.
Their Favorite Toys: While we have plenty of fun to be had, we don't provide shared toys to
prevent the spread of germs. So, be sure to pack their absolute favorite wand toy or catnip
mouse!

4. Lights, Camera, Action! The Grand Arrival

Don't be surprised when your cat checks in and looks completely unfazed. Thanks to our individual air ventilation technology and our incredible "NO cat smell" policy, most of our feline guests are ready to sniff, explore, and start eating and drinking within the first 15 minutes!

5. Your Daily Dose of "I Miss My Cat" Cures
